Vis medicatrix naturae - the healing power of nature - is the core tenet of a system of medicine known as Nature Cure. This power describes the healing ability inherent to the body that is governed by the laws of nature.  Nature - being both the sum total of the forces at work throughout the universe and the elements of the natural world, such as mountains, rivers, plants and
animals - is ordered and intelligent. The human body has a natural state, and when it is thrown into disequilibrium the body experiences “dis-ease”.

Human biology is self regulating, it naturally corrects and adjusts to reach a homeostatic equilibrium. Nature Cure practitioners  acknowledge that the nature of human biology, as the nature of the Universe, is to maintain equilibrium. It is my belief, as an esthetician, that it is important to identify and remove obstacles of equilibrium and to facilitate and augment the natural healing ability of not only the skin but the whole body, mind and spirit.

Osmosis Pur medical skincare:

Osmosis is the pioneer in offering products that truly partner with the skin to create results without inflammation. Most products deliver temporary changes, Osmosis works to provide long term improvements required to maintain optimal skin health.

TAMA Research microcurrent:

Using very low levels of electrical current, microcurrent triggers the body’s natural cellular repair mechanism. Used as an anti-aging tool, it can diminish the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles by toning and rejuvenating the facial muscles. This process stimulates the production of collagen and elastin. The effects are immediate and cumulative. The uplifting therapy is preventative, as well as corrective.

"Osmosis has cracked the code on reversing aging skin, but more factors are involved in an aging face. I am so excited about the effects of TAMA's Microcurrent because it strengthens and rebuilds lost muscle (a key factor in an aging face) along with enhancing the many Osmosis effects like more collagen/elastin, ATP, circulation, nutrition, and better wound healing".
